Composition

Each capsule contains:

• Itraconazole 100 mg

Indications (Uses)

ITROPAN 100 mg is used to treat fungal infections such as:

• Ringworm (Tinea corporis)
• Athlete’s foot (Tinea pedis)
• Jock itch (Tinea cruris)
• Fungal nail infections (Onychomycosis)
• Oral thrush (Oropharyngeal candidiasis)
• Vaginal yeast infection (Vulvovaginal candidiasis)
• Pityriasis versicolor
• Certain serious systemic fungal infections (e.g., aspergillosis, histoplasmosis) as prescribed by a physician.

Mechanism of Action

Itraconazole inhibits fungal cell membrane synthesis by blocking the production of ergosterol, leading to the death of susceptible fungi.

Dosage & Administration

• Take exactly as prescribed by your doctor.
• Swallow the capsule whole.
• Take immediately after a full meal for better absorption.
• Complete the full course even if symptoms improve early.

Seek medical attention if you develop jaundice, severe rash, swelling, or difficulty breathing.
