Composition
Each capsule contains:
- Itraconazole 100 mg
Indications (Uses)
ITROPAN 100 mg is used to treat fungal infections such as:
- Ringworm (Tinea corporis)
- Athlete’s foot (Tinea pedis)
- Jock itch (Tinea cruris)
- Fungal nail infections (Onychomycosis)
- Oral thrush (Oropharyngeal candidiasis)
- Vaginal yeast infection (Vulvovaginal candidiasis)
- Pityriasis versicolor
- Certain serious systemic fungal infections (e.g., aspergillosis, histoplasmosis) as prescribed by a physician.
Mechanism of Action
Itraconazole inhibits fungal cell membrane synthesis by blocking the production of ergosterol, leading to the death of susceptible fungi.
Dosage & Administration
- Take exactly as prescribed by your doctor.
- Swallow the capsule whole.
- Take immediately after a full meal for better absorption.
- Complete the full course even if symptoms improve early.

- Skin rash
Seek medical attention if you develop jaundice, severe rash, swelling, or difficulty breathing.

Contraindications
