Uses
Deslort (Desloratadine) is a second-generation antihistamine used to relieve allergy symptoms, including:
- Allergic rhinitis (hay fever)
- Sneezing
- Runny or blocked nose
- Itchy or watery eyes
- Itching of the nose or throat
- Chronic urticaria (hives)
- Skin itching and allergic skin rashes
How It Works
Desloratadine blocks the action of histamine, a chemical released during allergic reactions. This helps reduce allergy symptoms for up to 24 hours with minimal drowsiness.
Dosage
- Adults and children 12 years and older: 5 mg once daily.
- Can be taken with or without food.
- Take at the same time each day for best results.
- Use only as directed by your healthcare provider.

- Mild drowsiness (less common than older antihistamines)

Precautions
